Epaulettes have a brass button each. The vertical type collar has an RACT badge on each side. Ribbons - Qty 2. 2. Trousers, black. Two white stripes down outside of leg. Fly is zipper type.
Jacket has "Jones" written in it. Trousers have "J.T. Jones" .

RSL Funeral services conducted by the Bendigo RSL Sub Branch and Bendigo District RSL Sub Branch for their departed members. .1) The first entry in the book is 27.10.1965 and the last on 27.12.2008. A large amount of the entries were written by Jack Barnes OAM during his 43 years as Secretary of the Sub Branch. (Refer Cat No 8040). The vast majority of the funerals were conducted by the President at the time, Committee members or members who were heavily involved with the Sub Branch. It's virtual who's who of Presidents, Life members and notables. 1988 saw the most funerals conducted during that year being 60, other figures varied from mid 20's to mid 50's per year. One notable funeral Volunteer was John Balsillie MBE. (Refer Cat No 118.5) Between 2.1.2007 - 27.12.2008 there was 80 funerals with John conducting 78 of them. There is an interesting addition of one funeral by Jack Barnes on 31.1.1968 was that it was (111 degrees). .2) The list on the sheet with a note, "For Cindy" who was the BDRSL Office Person at the time. these were for 2007, there was 19 on the sheet with only 9 in the book, 7 of the names have a red tick beside. The sheet was written by John Balsillie. John had conducted funerals for many years pre 2007 and for more years after.

They cover Butchers, Bakers, Grocery stores, Jewellers, Cafe’s, Dairies, Florists, Department stores, Nurseries, Watch makers to name a few.
Folder grey covers with plastic sleeve inserts, front cover has a taped on yellow laminated paper with text in black. The contents are a selected amount of receipts from Bendigo Business’s to the Bendigo RSL Women’s Auxiliary.

Cash and Cheque deposit book Australian and New Zealand Banking Group Ltd used by the Bendigo RSL Womens Auxiliary. The first entry is on 6.11.1975 for $389.30 being for cards, catering and a donation. The last is 2.12.1977 for $51.00 being for a donation.
Deposit book blue covers ANZ Banking Group, all print in black, entries are blue, all pages left are duplicate carbon copies, there are a number of blue credit slips pinned to pages, the blue carbon paper at the end of the book are gone, pages are stamped in a red ANZ stamp.

These Certificates recognized the work of Miss F. Hutchinson (Florride)and Miss D Hutchinson (Doll) in reaching 10 years of Volunteer work for the Eaglehawk RSL Ladies Auxiliary dated 21.5.1960. This certificate was awarded by the Eaglehawk RSL Sub Branch to Miss H. Hutchinson (Hanna) on 17.5.1946 in Appreciation and loyalty to Service personnel as a Member of the Eaglehawk Ladies Auxiliary during the War years. The Auxiliaries efforts abled the furnishing of the Club rooms and raise 230.00 Pounds for the Returned Soldiers Distress Fund. Hanna was awarded the BEM (British Empire Medal in 1978 Refer Cat No 8212.2 for her Sister Florrie and Photo Cat No 8200P.

This is a set of 12 photographs of A Section, 1st Topographic Survey Troop taken from the 25th of May to the 12th of June 1966 during their deployment to Vung Tau, Vietnam. Led by OC CAPT Bob Skitch, the ten personnel from A Section 1st Topo Svy Tp and six personnel from supporting units were the first contingent from the Royal Australian Survey Corps deployed to provide topographic support to the Australian Task Force in Vietnam. They arrived in Saigon, Vietnam on the 10th of June 1966 enroute to the Australian Reinforcement Unit (ARU) “back beach” camp in Vung Tau. The ten RA Svy technical personnel from 1st Topo Svy Tp deployed were: WO2 David Christie, SGT Stan Campbell, SGT Dave King, CPL Jim Roberts, CPL Dennis Duquemin, CPL Des Ceruti, SPR Derek Chambers, SPR Brian Firns, SPR Joe O’Connor and SPR Ron Smith. External personnel deployed were: WO2 Snow Rollston from Northern Command Field Survey Unit, T/CPL Peter Clarke – orderly room corporal, T/CPL Alan Carew – Technical Storeman, SPR Stan Johns – Map Storeman, SPR Boots Campbell – batman/driver and PTE BNF Brunning – cook. The ship featured in photos .1P and .2P was the aircraft carrier HMAS Sydney on its 4th voyage to Vietnam. On board were SGT Stan Campbell and SPR Brian Firns, tasked to manage A Section’s stores and equipment. The rest of A Section deployed to Vietnam by air on the chartered Qantas 707B ‘City of Longreach'. A Section’s main tasks were to establish a Theatre Grid, map compilation and map revision; Engineer Survey Support in the camp and to the civil community; give assistance to the Cordon Search Missions by producing large scale plots from aerial photos with every house and fence etc plotted; and then reproduce these by silk screening usually, within a 24-hour period. RA Svy’s support concluded with the withdrawal of Australian troops from Vietnam in 1972. War medal was for all who served in the armed services or Merchant Navy in WW2. Australian Service medal was specific to Australian Citizens.
Four WW2 Service Medals. 1. 1939-45 Star. 6 pointed Star of yellow copper and zinc alloy with a dark blue, red and light blue ribbon. Attached to a ring at the top. 2. Pacific Star - 6 pointed star of copper and zinc alloy with a small ring at top and colours on ribbon of red, dark blue, green, yellow, cream, dark blue and red. 3. War Medal 1939-45. Round silver medal in copper nickel with fixed straight bar on top. Attached ribbon is a combination of red, dark blue and white. 4. Australian Service Medal - round silver color medal of nickel alloy with fixed star and bar on top and ribbon colours of light blue, red, white and dark blue.

1. Jacket - Mess Dress style. Black and crimson colour wool fabric. Crimson colour fabric on rolled collar and sleeve cuffs. On collar are two gold and silver metal collar badges - crown, snake on pole, laurel wreath and ribbon scroll with lettering "ROYAL ARMY MEDICAL CORPS" British - Tailor made. Shoulder epaulettes - fabric with three tarnished gold, blue and green metal rank pips = Captain. Gold colour buttons with shank, raised emblem and lettering (same as collar badges). Lining - crimson colour body of jacket with concealed internal pocket. Sleeves - white colour cotton fabric. Manufacturers label on white colour cotton fabric, back, inside collar. 2. Vest - crimson colour wool fabric, front two inset pockets and four buttons (as above). Back - crimson colour cotton sateen fabric with strap and brass metal buckle for size adjustment. Lining - cream colour cotton fabric. 3. Trousers - black colour wool fabric with five button fly, fob pocket cream colour cotton lining to waistband and fob pocket. Black colour Bakelite buttons. Two silver colour metal buttons at back. Manufacturers label on white colour cotton label with black ink print and handwritten details - back, inside below waistband lining. 4. & 5. Part of crimson colour wool fabric three 1.5 cm strips on black colour wool fabric backing. These have been removed from a garment.

Two side pockets - One rear pocket. 3. Shirt - off white - civilian. 4. Belt - black wool, brass buckle. 5. Tie - black, purple liner.

This is a military, very cold environment jacket. Suspect Korean War vintage, possibly British or Aust. made.
1. This is a green jacket, 100% lined with fur. It has a raised fur lined neck. It has two pockets on lower front. The pockets have an inner neck (5 cms). Pockets held shut with buttons. The front is held shut with a metal zip and big buttons. The buttons are 28mm diameter, light brown. The wrists have draw straps to seal out cold. Ref: The lining inside:- Rear section fully sewn in, in the two front panels, the bottom edges are not sewn in. 2. Scarf. Woollen, Khaki, thick.
Written on front left jacket chest is name - PEARSE.
