Deaconess Catherine Ritchie was for many years the Principal of Rolland House, the training institute of the Presbyterian Church in Victoria for deaconesses. Miss Ritchie was the author of "Not to be ministered unto: The story of Presbyterian deaconesses trained in Melbourne", published by the Diaconate Association of Victoria, 1992.
