In memorial of Her Majesty Queen Victoria. Presented by the Women's Christian Temperance Union of the city of Ballarat. J. J. Brokenshire, Mayor, 24th May, 1902. The fountain is appropriately situated in Queen Victoria Square, and immediately behind the statue of the late Queen in Sturt Street.
