Historical information
Churchill Island has a large photographic collection dating from the nineteenth century. This series shows the extensive work and volunteering conducted on site by workers after it was turned into a heritage site. Lolly (a deaf horse) and Sophie were two Clydesdales who came to live on Churchill Island in 1997.
