The two men in the curricle were in Brook Street outside Sunbury Railway Station.
Significance
Before the advent of motor transport and buses, passengers from the train were taken by horse drawn vehicles to their destinations. An area was set aside at the station where the horses and vehicles waited for trains to arrive.
