Corner of High St and Williams St (now Curtin Dve). Formerly the site of Wingfield's Hides and Wool agent and Frank O'Grady's solicitors office. In 1971 Jim Bannon moved his butcher business from the eastern end of High St to this newly built shop. He sold to Weirs in 1986 who sold to Frank Bourke in 1987. Part of a streetscape series taken for the Shire of Charlton in 1987. Bourke's butchers shop built 1971 for J Bannon. Shows area now occupied by the Travellers Rest complex.
