Historical information

Churchill Island Heritage Farm has a large photographic collection dating from the nineteenth century.

This series showcases photographs taken in the 1930s and 1940s and shows people who lived and worked on the Island during the Jenkins period. This photograph was taken by Captain Patterson from Australian National Airlines in January 1940 and shows an aerial view of Churchill Island and Phillip Island as viewed from the north.
