Churchill Island Heritage Farm has a large photographic collection dating from the nineteenth century.

This series showcases photographs taken in the 1930s and 1940s and shows people who lived and worked on the Island during the Jenkins period. This photograph shows Amess House as it was in the 1940s.

Physical description

Black and white photograph with a white border of Amess House, with the Norfolk Pine and the cannon visible. There is a large mark/discolouration obscuring the right/bottom third of the photograph.
