Physical description

Handwritten bound register of date of ripe pear varieties, identifiable by inked name of variety, traced entries and juice imprints of half a pear, period when ripe. Created in 1872 - 1874 by persons unknown - but in the possession of the Cole Family (Nurserymen) in 1945 when presented to the principal of Burnley College T. Kneen.
