Handwritten cardboard bound register.
First used as a merchandising record of tobacco sales and shipping from 1899-1901 (wholesale weights, boat name and dock charges and destination eg London) - by Department of the Agriculture.
Then used as a register of Burnley School of Horticulture student applications, and enrolments with fees between 1903 and 1914.
Includes (1) Letter dated 20-7-1909 addressed to Mr. Cardiff from John Cronin (Principal 1908-1909). (Using crossed out letterhead Victorian Department of Agriculture. (Entomological Branch). CROWN LAW OFFICES Lonsdale Street.)
