Historical information

The cottage is typical of the holiday houses that could be rented in Halls Gap. This house was called "The Wattles" and was one of the houses used as "Girls Hut".

Physical description

The photo shows a weatherboard cottage set in bush. A sandy path through bracken can be seen in the foreground. There is a tall gum tree in the right of the photo.
