Portrait of Alfred Clemes. Chemist then Shire Secretary. Alfred Clemes was a Shire Secretary from 1871-1915.
He was born at Austell, Cornwell in 1829. Clemes arrived in Pleasant Creek in 1858 where he set up a business as a chemist.
