Pleasant Creek Cross Reef Quartz Mining Co No2 Poppet Head constructed 1868.
On christening of the Engine, Mrs. T. Brown christened it "The Duke of Edinburgh".
At the back of the winding engine building of the No2 Shaft is the Grant and Lamont Crushing Battery built in June 1876.
On right can be seen the Whim of the Pioneer and Galatea mine.
