This silk dress belonged to Edith Irene Marshall (née Horsefall), who married William George Townsend Marshall at St David's Presbyterian Church, Albury on the 18th September 1937.

Significance

The dress contributes to our understanding of social and family life in twentieth century Wodonga, as well as providing interpretative capacity for themes including local history, social history and women's history.
