Extract of "Herald" 2/2/22: The intention of the Railway Commissioners is to electrify the line to the Gully as soon as convenient, and with greater frequency of service many persons settled, and settling, in the district will be benefited. There is a scheme which may be launched that will allow for an express service of fast trains to the Gully. The commissioners are alive to the necessity for assisting to settle the picturesque districts between Box Hill and Gembrook.
