Historical information

Norma Bull is an Australian painter who is most famous for her paintings and sketches made during World War II in Britain as an official war artist. Bull was a finalist in the Archibald prize twice, in 1952 and 1953. Her work is featured in collections around the world including the Royal Collection, the Imperial War Museum, the National Gallery of Australia, and the Bright Art Gallery.
