Significance
Touch Merchant raced from 1969 (2yo) through to 1979 (12yo). Leading Australian Trotting Stakes Winner in 1975 (All Ages), 1977 (All Ages). Twice named "Trotter of the Year" by Square Trotters Association. Won Three SA Gramel Series in a row in 1973, 74 and 75. Had the Distinction of winning at the final meeting at Wayville SA and the First metropolitan meeting at Globe Derby SA. Also won at the Inaugural meeting at Moonee Valley Vic. Career: 45 wins 30 seconds 20 thirds 166 starts.
