Historical information

The Order of The Burning Bush, started in 1925, was conducted as a Brotherhood, with a ritual, initiation services, three degrees of membership, instruction, and other features common among lodges and fraternities. Each Chapter was worked by the members under direct supervision of the minister or his representative. Any boy over 14 years of age is eligible for membership.
Officers: Grand Chancellor - the minister; Directors; Assistant-Director. The following were elected every six months: Chancellor; Vice-Chancellor; Chaplain; Scribe; Purser; Constable; Sentinel and Musician.
