Historical information

This watch was presented by the Shires of Blackburn and Mitcham to Miss Beatrice Neilson in recognition of her work with 'The Box Hill Reporter' 1927-1930 and in particular her faithful reporting of events in these shires. Miss Neilson joined the staff of 'The Age' in 1930 and retired in 1971.
