Tea pot would have been covered with a thick tea cosy and this cover placed over the top as decoration.
White teapot cover- semi-circle in shape and doubled. Hand made tatting edging and drawthread. Cut out embroidery of flowers in a basket on one side and diamond cutout pattern on the other.
