This attachment was used by donor . It was a great improvement over hand made buttonholes.
A Singer buttonhole attachment used about 1950s. It was attached to ordinary power sewing machines to make button holes. It includes a small metal plate to cover teeth when making button hole and a fairly long slotted screw for attaching plate.
