This little shirt knitting bag was made so ladies could take their knitting to church to knit as long as it was knitting for the war effort in the First World War
Physical description
A bag in the shape of a shirt. It has a collar and top at the front, cuff on sleeves, a small pocket with inscription ' Sister Susie Sewing Shirts for Soldiers'. A thick cord joined at the neck to hang on the arm of the knitter. Mustard yellow in colour.
