Historical information
The brooch belonged to the Martin family, originally from Paisley, Scotland. The were pioneers in South Gippsland.
Physical description
Gilt and black enamel oval brooch. Hair enclosed in centre with 'Prince of Wales' design and with tiny pearls. Can be used as a brooch or hung on a necklace. The gold design around black enamel has curling design around edge.
