Evacuation bag for school children during WW2 to take their necessary clothes. Made by their mothers from Hartwell Primary School
Calico bag was made in approx. 1940 for use as an evacuation bag which could be used to take necessary clothes and nightwear.
A calico rectangle bag made for evacuations during WW2, with a front flap with 2 buttons. On back is 2 cross over straps for wearing on back.
