Female Relative Badges were issued to the nearest female relative to those on active service overseas during the First and Second World Wars. The star on the bar indicated the number of relatives serving.

Silver-coloured Badge surmounted with crown edged with leaf design, inscription surrounding inner wreath of leaves & Australian bar suspended on loops with chain. 7-pointed star on bar. Pin on back for fastening. NB: Star indicated no. of sons serving NB: ID No. on reverse: A109990.
