Physical description

Mitcham soldiers monument unveiled by the state governor, the Earl of Stradbroke. The monument was erected by the Mitcham Welcome Home Association in memory of those who served and lost their lives in World War I. The monument is a bugler looking towards the hills. A memorial service was held in Mitcham Memorial Hall afterwards, conducted by Rev. T. McKeon.
