Mitcham Football Club celebrates 100 years. Edgar Walker presided over the club in its early days. In 1893 Mitcham Club combined with Surrey Hills and Box Hill to play as Nunawading. The amalgamation was brief and the clubs reformed under their own identities. The club moved to Whitehorse Road on land bought by Edgar Walker.
