Two articles re the 12 hour siege at Wainwright Ryan Solicitors in Mitcham when Peter Morris held the office up with a shotgun. He was a former client of Michael Ryan and had received a Supreme Court order to pay $1300 legal fees. Besides sizeable legal fees he had already paid and the loss of $200,000. Ryan was not present when Morris arrived and he held another solicitor, John Hoey, who later made his escape.
