2 copies of first shop in Blackburn, built in 1907 on corner Railway Road and Chapel Street, Blackburn. Mary Pearce and daughter, Jessie, outside. Mrs Pearce ran a fruit and vegetable shop. She is believed to be the first private business woman in the Nunawading Area. She was the daughter of Mr and Mrs Slater
