Historical information

Monty Gray, the auctioneer was a member of the State Legislative Assembly, and uncle to photo donor, Phyl Johnson. Mrs Rene Bawden and daughter Shirley Jones were early members of the Nunawading Historical Society and often attended auctions and frequented second shops looking for early 1900's artifacts for Schwerkolt Cottage and Museum
