On awards night for the combined repertory groups of Victoria, the Mitcham Repertory Group donated the Max Grant Perpetual Trophy for 'best actor in a comedy'. In 2002 a plaque was installed by the Nunawading Arts Council, acknowledging the contributions of Max Grant, Albert Brown,Hazel Mourney, Noel Browne and Joan Abbott as members of the Nunawading Arts Council.
