Historical information
The Nunawading Ladies Benevolent Society became the Whitehorse Emergency Relief Network in 1999, when a number of local organizations were encouraged to form a network by Betty and Keith Rooney. The object was to collect domestic items of good quality to assist people in need, especially women who have been the victims of domestic violence.
