A detailed history of Australian Army base at Bonegilla, Victoria including its strategic role during WW2, its role as a pivotal migrant reception centre from 1947 until 1971, after which it reverted to the Army. It was then further developed as the Latchford barracks as part of the Army Logistic Training Centre.
