Summary

The small community of Bonegilla produced 28 young volunteers, average age 22, eager to leave their homeland and their families to fight for their King, country and freedom. Twelve were never to return, leaving devastated family and friends. Those who did return were often not blessed with a long life after the mental and physical damage they had suffered in the carnage and destruction of a bloody war.. This book explains their stories.
