Summary

Maurice Chick's memoirs are the story of an apprentice carpenter working for his father who became the managing director of a company that erected many of the landmark buildings in the Albury-Wodonga region. It is a story of work, entrepreneurial ventures and travel that were part of a life lived with enthusiasm. Included are comments from workmen, business associates and friends, and a pictorial archive of buildings erected in a 50 year career.
