This is a military, very cold environment jacket. Suspect Korean War vintage, possibly British or Aust. made.

1. This is a green jacket, 100% lined with fur. It has a raised fur lined neck. It has two pockets on lower front. The pockets have an inner neck (5 cms). Pockets held shut with buttons. The front is held shut with a metal zip and big buttons. The buttons are 28mm diameter, light brown. The wrists have draw straps to seal out cold. Ref: The lining inside:- Rear section fully sewn in, in the two front panels, the bottom edges are not sewn in. 2. Scarf. Woollen, Khaki, thick.

Written on front left jacket chest is name - PEARSE.

Ribbons are: War medals 1939-45. Australian Service Medal. Belonged to Lt. Col. E.P. Seymour. One of the CO's of 38 Bn.

1. Jacket - woollen, black. Lt Col Rank Badges, gold, on epaulettes. Rising Sun badges on collars. Aust Commonwealth Military Forces. Four pockets. Four gold centre buttons. Top two pockets held shut with a gold button. 2. Trousers, woollen, black with red vertical stripe on sides. Pockets - 1 coin, 2 hip, 1 rear. Fly held shut four black buttons. 3. Shirt (ex) white short sleeved. 1 button missing. E... its cotton pocket. 4. Belt, Woollen black. Brass buckle. Two mini straps on inside of belt. 5. Tie, black, cotton. 6. Ribbon bar WW2 (2 medals). 7. Hat peaked black. Formal wear. Gold braid on brim. Red band and red piping. Rising Sun Badge. Aust Comm Military Forces.

On trousers, written on two pockets is name: Seymour. Hat has a ticket inside. Lt. Col. E.P. Seymour.

Postcard booklet, card covers brown with text in green and red, on the left is a town Crest in green and text in red. on inside plain page is text in blue pen, The detachable cards cover all sorts of places from Church's, hotels, theatres, buildings, wharf's.
