The arm belonged to Herbert Arthur Dower, VX21917, enlisted 4.6.1940 and posted to 2/14th Bn, embarked for the Middle East 19.10.1940, WIA 24.6.1941 GSW left Arm, amputation, embark for Australia 18.8.1941, discharged 2.2.1942.
Prosthetic arm, two piece, yellow colour, Brown glove on hand, pivoted joint at elbow with leather strap, shoulder recess has leather lining, webbing strap for attachment to torso.
