The blanket fitted inside what was commonly called a “Silk”, the press studs fitted the Silk and could then be used like a sleeping bag. refer Cat No 3000.

Physical description

Blanket Inner dark green wool, around the the edges are 18 nylon strips sewn on with press studs, one corner has a white tag with faint details on.

Inscriptions & markings

On white tag, “Victoria 1964 (arrow up)”, in black texta pen, “PB”.
