A collection of 'interesting events' from the life of Edward B. [Benjamin] Green (1870-1962). The author was the grandson of Edward Bernard Drury Green, who held the Sydney to Melbourne mail delivery contract from 1844 to 1853; He purchased part of Portion 18 in 1841 from Smyth, and sold it in 1853, the advertisement of sale thought to be the first use of the name "Greensborough" for the district.
