Historical information

Made as a Souvenir Sales item for the Seattle Waterfront tramway. Purchased at the time of the visit of a former MMTB tram workshops foreman. Depicts W2 512. The Waterfront tramway opened in 1982 using three ex Melbourne trams. The service closed 2005.

Significance

Has a close association with the now closed Seattle USA Waterfront Tramway.

Physical description

Badge - Seattle USA, Souvenir - relief of a Melbourne W2 512. with a green and cream colour scheme with a enamel gloss finish and a pin on the rear. Two copies held.
