Dark green cover - fabric over cardboard - well worn. Red fabric binding to spine - peeling at back. Spine coming away from blue lined pages. Alphabetic index runs along edge. 138 pages of individual borrowers records. Some back pages have been ripped out.
Red sticker 11.5cm x 7cm with fancy internal edging and word 'Ledger" written inside.

'Photograph is of Mr. J.Corby Davis. Identified as such by Mrs Eva Boswell (nee Breustedt), Mrs Annie Crawford ( nee Skinner). Presented by Mrs Goodyer 30/11/1973. Beechworth 24th April 1937. John Corby Davies. O&M Paper.' Davis was an auditor for the Athenaeum in the 1900's.

Glass lamp base - seven sided narrowing before kerosene covered bowl section covered with brass burner possibly ' Aladdin' with used wick. Middle rim patterned - molded glass. Chimney - clear glass undamaged. Made around 1920's - 1950's.

Cedar with 3 drawers, green lino top. Lockable drawers. One large piece for top. Blackwood legs 9cm width graduating to 6cm. Cedar drawers with knobs which have been replaced extending to back of table with lock and key.

Wooden with drawer - pine top. Circular carved legs - 2 circles at top. One rear brace. Top consists of 6 identical boards. Sliding drawer at end covered in fabric/paper. backed paper with blue square patterned. Dark stain to support and legs. Tin home-made handle.
Drawer has 'Kensington Meat Preserving Works, Melbourne, Australia' on sides. Underneath - '4 dozen sheep tongue'

Wooden table - 2 panels comprise top which has 4 holes punctured through boards. Majority of top has green lino which is peeling off. Dark stain - legs with one indented cut and legs graduate down from 6 to 4.5 cm width. Pine top - local timber base (blackwood). Repurposed and sturdy.
