This Beco lamp is by Suzy's bookcase and desk. It was designed by Donald Brown, a pre-eminent Australian lighting designer in the '50s and '60s. Robin Boyd often specified BECO lighting, including elsewhere in his own home. There was a similar lamp in Penleigh's room as a bedlight near the bookcase at one time.
