Robin’s brother Pat Boyd took Mandie and Penleigh Boyd (Patricia and Robin’s eldest children) to the 1956 Melbourne Olympic Games. At this time, Robin and Patricia Boyd, with their youngest daughter Suzy, were based in Cambridge, Massachusetts North American academic year 1956-7.
