Sister Elizabeth (Betty) Johnson Rose Garden, Wellingtonia, Winter 2010, page 2. Betty Johnson was born in Ballarat, and trained at the Ballarat Base Hospital from 1939 to 1942.
Significance
Sister Johnson made a significant contribution to the health of Ballarat's children for many years. While she was a dedicated professional, she also has a passion for roses, Hence the establishment of the Memorial Rose Garden in her honour in the Botanical Gardens
