Large spoon, stainless steel, with German Ensignia ( Eagle ) with Swastika underneath
Engraved on underside of handle German Eagle Ensignia with Swastika in a circle underneath. T.W.S. 41. Might be a table spoon for measuring or serving spoon. Handle has bevilled edges and is scooped close to spoon bowl. Well used appearance, with scratching from cleaning, dark grey appearance.
Opaque Red glass lamp base and clear glass topDark metal top on base which houses the base for the top and the opening for the wick to raised and lowered by the round wheel also on this metal base. Grecian urn shaped base. Black tape around bottom edge of base, also strips of black tape on inside bottom of base. Perhaps to assist with repairs where base is damaged

LARGE book. Bound in dark red leather with embossing. Websters New International Dictionary wth Reference History including Webster insignia all in a circle on the front. Spine has writing ( hard to read ) and raised strips in silver. Inside there is some moth damage at the front, some page edges are damaged, and clear tape has been used to repair near front. Inside front and rear covers have mottled colours of red, yellow.

A social history of the humane internment and POW camps set up during W.W.2 at Tatura, Rushworth, and Murchison in Central Victoria. Tatura camp was one of the largest internment camps in Australia holding approximately 12,000 - 13,000 people of multicultures from almost every country in the world.
