Historical information

This sugar bowl was manufactured by the firm Stewart Dawson & Co. The firm was active as jewellers and watch manufacturer at Hatton Garden London, with premises in Melbourne and Sydney, Australia. In 1907 the firm was converted to Stewart Dawson & Co Ltd under which name in traded until c1935.

Significance

This item is from Raper Collection donated to the Wodonga Historical Society by Mrs. Jean Raper. It belonged to her mother, Mrs. Yardy.
