Thomson made his WIll not long before he died. The Will testifies to his wealth, generosity and strong bonds with other gentlemen in Ballarat. In particular, the purchase of statues is detailed.

Significance

Importantly, the Will details Thomson's instructions and names the Trustees for the purchase of Statues for the Ballarat Botanical Gardens.
