THIS APPEARS TO BE A PRESSED TIN BADGE. ORIGINALLY CHROME OR SILVER, IT HAS THE SHAPE OF THE RISING SUN. IN THE CENTRE IS A STANDING SOLDIER WITH A RIFLE. THERE ARE TWO BANNERS AT THE BOTTOM WITH THE WORDS "AUSTRALIA - THE EMPIRE AND OUR ALLIES'. THE MOUNTING PIN ON THE REAR IS MISSING.
