There are plants in the Ballarat Botanical Gardens that are medicinal especially in the Sensory Garden section.
Significance
The background to plants used by people from earliest times is outlined, as well plants used for medicinal purposes. How these plants were used is valuable information, in terms of the plants already found in the Gardens and any future planting.
