Significance
An early black and white photograph which shows a man and a woman standing on the bridge that crosses the Steavenson River at the base of the Steavenson Falls in Marysville in Victoria. The Steavenson Falls are named after the Victorian Assistant Commissioner of Roads and Bridges, John Steavenson who arrived in Victoria in the early 1860s.
